Note: Digital files are supplied in A1 size so they can scale down perfectly to any smaller size, whereas smaller files can’t scale up without losing quality.

Choose options
SoundLines are made in 3 high quality formats that are quite different to each other so please read about each and choose carefully:
1. Paper
High quality paper framed beautifully is such a classic. So well done if you choose this option!
Our SoundLines are printed on fine art archival paper (True Fibre Matt Art Print Giclée 200gsm). This is a smooth matt paper with a warm undertone.
So what is archival paper and why does it matter?
Ordinary paper degrades - it goes yellow and gets brittle over time whereas archival paper is made to be slightly more alkaline to prevent this from happening and guarantees the quality of your artwork.
Framing
Our acrylic and metal pieces are frameless so framing is only available for SoundLines printed on paper. We offer two framing options:
BLACK STEEL
The steel black frames have a thin front face profile and the look and feel is modern and minimalistic. The pieces are framed to image with clear glass, meaning that there is no mount board giving the artwork a clean sophisticated finish.
NATURAL WOOD
The natural wood frames are classic in their design with a contemporary but more conventional framing profile in comparison to the black steel. The pieces are framed to image with clear glass, meaning that there is no mount board and the artwork is quintessentially stylish in its finish.
2. Metal
Our metallic artworks offer a luxurious and textural feel.
This product is made from a smooth powder coated white aluminium and the result is a feeling of depth to the images and colours. Although not archival, the inks are designed to last but again we recommend that these pieces are not hung in direct sunlight.
Hanging:
The pieces are frameless and are fitted with a wooden sub-frame (25mm Supa Wood) and two small D-rings for hanging. This 25mm sub-frame means that the piece appears to float when it is hung adding to the depth of the piece.
3. Digital File
With our digital file option, we create a digital version of the artwork for you. The electronic design file will be sent to you for you to bring it to life in your own time and on your own budget. This is a great option for customers living outside of SA or for customers wanting to gift a SoundLine to someone living outside of SA.
SoundLines come in three sizes:
- A3: 420mmx297mm print size
- A2: 595mm x 420mm print size
- A1: 841mm x 594mm print size
Our artwork is produced using high quality products and by skilled printers and framers with the utmost care. However, we would recommend that the artwork is not hung in direct sunlight or in areas with any damp or moisture.
If you are worried about damp, then a nifty trick is to put some small pieces of cork between the artwork and the wall to create an extra barrier for your artwork.
Please note:
- The best visual result comes from a song or audio clip that is a minimum of 20 seconds and a maximum of 8 minutes in length.
- The colour and frame may vary slightly from the rendered image.
